Walking around Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai
Jiangwan Sports Center (江湾体育中心), formerly known as Shanghai Sports Stadium or Jiangwan Stadium, is located in Yangpu District, Shanghai.
Designed by the famous Chinese architect Dong Dayou, it was built in August 1934 and put in to use in October 1935.
Jiangwan Sports Center includes a stadium with a capacity of 42,000 spectators, a gymnasium with a capacity of 3,500 spectators and a swimming pool with a capacity of 2,500 spectators.
