Walk in Yangzhou City, China – Guanyin Mountain
Guanyin Mountain (观音山) is located on the east side of Daming Temple (大明寺) in central Yangzhou City (扬州市), Jiangsu Province, China.
Emperor Yang (隋煬帝, 569 – 11 April 618) of the Sui Dynasty once built his palace “Milou” here.
Guanyin Mountain is representative of the mountain temples, and it is known as the “First Spiritual Mountain”. Many cultural relics from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) unearthed here are now on display.
