Feeding Black Swans from a Boat

The black swan is a large waterbird, a species of swan which breeds mainly in the southeast and southwest regions of Australia.

Feature:
Body length 1.1~1.4 meters. Iris red. The mouth is bright red and the tip is white. Feet gray and black.

Except for a small part of the primary flight feathers that are white, the rest of the adult bird’s feathers are bright and dark. The neck is slender and often curved into an S shape.

The male bird is slightly larger than the female bird and has a straighter and longer beak. The feathers of young birds are grayish brown.

Distributed:
Eastern and southwestern Australia.
