Anchang Ancient Town (安昌古镇) is located in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China. Anchang Ancient Town is one of the four famous ancient towns in Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province.
The town was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty (960–1127). It was burned down many times due to wars, and was rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Its architectural style inherits the characteristics of a typical Jiangnan water town.
The ancient town has gone through nearly a thousand years, and most of the remaining buildings are from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
