Ancient Bagua-shaped Farmland – Hangzhou, China
Hangzhou is the capital and most populous city of Zhejiang, China. Along the Qiantang River in Hangzhou, there is a Bagua-shaped farmland dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), with a nearby Taoist temple on the Yuhuang Mountain offering a panoramic view of the picturesque West Lake.
This Bagua-shaped farmland was a place where the ancient emperors attached importance to agricultural production through sacred ceremonial activities.
Bagua-shaped farmland is located within the Baguatian Ruins Park (八卦田遗址公园) with an area of approximately 90 acres.
