Zhaoxing Dong Village Travel Guide – Guizhou, China
Zhaoxing Dong Village (肇兴侗寨) is located in Liping County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China. It is the largest Dong village in the Dong area of Southeast Guizhou. It is also the folk culture center of the Dong nationality.
Zhaoxing Dong Village is famous for its architecture, primarily it is five drum towers. The five drum towers are named after five primary Chinese virtues: wisdom, trust, benevolence, righteousness, courtesy.
Other famed examples of architecture here include the Wind and Rain Bridges.
Zhaoxing Dong is a one of a kind place and definitely worth a visit.
