Young White Wagtails walking on the river side

On the riverside area of Tone River, there were many young white wagtails and also adult white wagtails walking on the ground. Of course they can fly, but they seem to love walking. Anyway let’s enjoy adorable young white wagtails.

The Tone River is a river in the Kantō region of Japan. It is 322 kilometers in length and has a drainage area of 16,840 square kilometers.

The white wagtail is an insectivorous bird of open country, often near habitation and water. It prefers bare areas for feeding, where it can see and pursue its prey. In urban areas it has adapted to foraging on paved areas such as car parks.
