Walk in Shanghai – Pailou Village
Pailou Village (牌楼村) is located in Pudong New District, Shanghai. The village is famous for its peach and, of course, basic agricultural rice.
During our visit to Pailou Village, I noticed that the farmers here are basically foreigners, with Northeastern Anhui accents, and Henan accents.
It seems that the local villagers rent out their land to them to farm, and they grow the crops they want, or sit on the lease.
