The beach of Cala Pira (Spiaggia di Cala Pira) is in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia and part of the comune of Castiadas.
The beach of Cala Pira, protected by a promontory on which is perched the tower of the same name and surrounded by granite, and juniper trees.
A wonderful bay, a turquoise sea and the embrace of vegetation make this beach one of the most beautiful of the south of Sardinia.
The beach is fine-grained and white, while the sides you can dive into the depths rich in fauna and practice snorkeling. The beach is located within the marine protected area of Capo Carbonara.
