Taiwan Bamboo Partridge – Natural Bird Sound
The Taiwan bamboo partridge is a species of bird in the family Phasianidae. It is endemic to Taiwan. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the Chinese bamboo partridge.
Feature:
Body length 25 cm. Iris brown. Mouth grayish black. The feet are yellowish brown, and the males have spurs, and some females have spurs.
Androgynous. The body is chubby, the top of the head and the back of the neck are olive brown, with small brown spots, the forehead and eyebrows are gray, the back is gray-brown, with small chestnut and white spots, the chest is blue-gray, semi-ring, the abdomen, and the undertail coverts are brownish-yellow, with dark brown patches.
Distributed:
It inhabits middle and low-altitude forests at 300 to 2,300 meters in Taiwan.
