Shanghai Night Walk – Huangpu Riverfront in Lujiazui

Lujiazui (陆家嘴, lit. meaning “[The] Lu family’s mouth”), is a peninsula formed by a bend in the Huangpu River. Since the early 1990s, Lujiazui has been developed specifically as a new financial district of Shanghai.

It is located on the east side of the Huangpu River in Pudong, and sits directly across the river from the old financial and business district of the Bund.

The Huangpu River at night in Shanghai is bustling with lights on both sides of the river.

The European-style buildings on the Bund in central the city is shaped by the lights, telling a hundred years of history.

The skyscrapers in Lujiazui on the east side of the Huangpu River are presented with a strong modern atmosphere under the colorful light show.

Cruise ships are sailing down the river, drawing a beautiful line, linking the two sides of the river.
