Ptarmigan Ridge Hiking Trail – Mount Baker Wilderness, USA

Mount Baker Wilderness is a 119,989-acre (48,558 ha) wilderness area within the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in the western Cascade Range of northern Washington state, United States.

In this video, I take a solo hike in my favorite place in all of Washington State! The Mount Baker Wilderness. The hike is on the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail from Artist Point.

During the hike we can see Mt. Baker, also known as Koma Kulshan or simply Kulshan. It is a 10,781 ft (3,286 m) active glacier-covered andesitic stratovolcano.
