Welcome to the Great Wall of China at Badaling! I expected this UNESCO World Heritage site and Wonder of the World to be amazing. Spectacular even. Descriptions can’t really nail down just how breathtaking this marvel is. The Great Wall is more that just great, it’s unbelievable. The cost in lives and materials to construct this epic achievement is a stark reminder of history as we enjoy some of the most beautiful views imaginable. Enjoy…we sure did.
