We were worried about catching a train in China. We were travelling from Chengdu to Xian on the Chinese high-speed rail network. We had bought our China train tickets online before arriving in China.
Arriving at the station is a totally different procedure to anywhere else I have caught a train. It is more like an airport departure. Scan and line up at your boarding gate to wait for your train.
