Wuhou Temple in Chengdu – Sichuan, China

Wuhou Temple (武侯祠) is known as the Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters and was built in the first year of Zhangwu (221) as a special shrine to commemorate Zhuge Liang.

The temple honors the founders of the Shu Kingdom in Chinese history, primarily Zhuge Liang, but also Liu Bei, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, and is considered one of Chengdu’s top historical attractions.
