White-throated Kingfisher – Bird Sound
The white-throated kingfisher also known as the white-breasted kingfisher is a tree kingfisher, widely distributed in Asia from the Sinai east through the Indian subcontinent to China and Indonesia.
Feature:
Body length 26~28 cm. Iris dark brown. The mouth is thick and red. Feet red.
The head, neck, lower abdomen, and lower tail coverts are brown, the chin, throat, chest, and upper abdomen are white, the back, waist, wings, and tail are shiny blue-green, and the upper part and wing tips of the upper wing coverts are black.
Distributed:
Middle East, India, Southern China, Southeast Asia. Taiwan is a lost bird or not a common resident bird.
