Walking on Nanjing West Road, Shanghai
Nanjing West Road is considered to be an old commercial street in Shanghai, and once a visitor to Shanghai, apart from Nanjing East Road, Nanjing West Road is also a must see. It was home to the tallest building in Shanghai at the time, the earliest shopping district in Shanghai, and the most comprehensive shopping mall for luxury goods in Shanghai at the time, Hang Lung Plaza.
With the development of the city, West Nanjing Road is no longer as busy as it used to be, and most of the people who walk along this road are residents of the neighbourhood and white-collar workers in the office buildings.
