Walk in Shanghai – The Bund and Zhongshan East 1st Road
The Bund (外滩) is a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. It runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River and Zhongshan East 1st Road in the eastern part of Huangpu District.
It starts from Yan’an East Road in the south and ends at Waibaidu Bridge on the Suzhou River (Suzhou Creek) in the north. It is 1.5 kilometers long.
Zhongshan East 1st Road (中山东一路), the Bund , is a major north-south road in Shanghai with a total length of 1,108 meters. The road starts from Yan’an East Road in the south and ends at Waibaidu Bridge in the north.
The autumn air was dry and refreshing, tourists strolled leisurely in the Bund and Zhongshan East 1st Road.
