Walk in Shanghai – Oriental Sports Center to China Art Palace
The Shanghai Oriental Sports Centre (上海东方体育中心), also known as the Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center, is a sports venue that started construction on December 30, 2008 and was completed in late 2010.
Great changes have taken place around the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Many office buildings have been built, which is like a brand-new CBD area. As planned by the Shanghai Municipal Government, this area will be built as the second “Lujiazui” in Shanghai.
The China Art Palace (中华艺术宫), also called the China Art Museum or its original name, Shanghai Art Museum, is a museum of modern Chinese art located in Pudong, Shanghai. The museum is housed in the former China Pavilion of Expo 2010. It is one of the largest art museums in Asia.
