Walk in Shanghai Old Town – Jiangyin Street
Shanghai’s old town, Jiangyin Street, is waiting to be demolished, but a movie about to start filming has made the street a fire in Shanghai Beach for a while.
The film is said to be a Republican spy film, starring Tony Leung, Wang Yibo, etc. The crew selected scenes on Jiangyin Street and transformed a section of a dozen meters of the street to make it into a Republican style.
Recently Shanghai Beach seems to be popular nostalgia, in the major new shopping malls will be set up a nostalgic street, the scene are associated with the old Shanghai, and are more fire. People are tired of the present life, or nostalgia for the past. The development of the city is not all high-rise buildings, perhaps there should also be some shadows of the past, so that we feel that we still live in the city.
