Walk in Shanghai – Beijing East Road and Surrounding Area

East Beijing Road is an east-west road in the northern part of Huangpu District, Shanghai. It starts from Zhongshan East 1st Road (The Bund) in the east and ends at Xizang Middle Road in the west.

The eastern section of Beijing East Road was mostly used by foreign companies and banks during the Concession era. The middle and western sections were mostly used by hardware, building materials and mechanical and electrical specialty stores.
