Two Javan Kingfisher on a Bough

The Javan kingfisher or Java kingfisher, also called the blue-bellied kingfisher, is a medium-sized kingfisher endemic to the Indonesian islands of Java and Bali.

Feature:
Body length 27 cm. Iris dark brown. Mouth thick and long, red. Feet dark red.

Male and female are similar. Head brownish black, chin, throat, chest brown, chin light brown, with some black stripes on both sides of throat.

The back, shoulders, wings, and tail are blue-purple, the back of the covered wings is black, and there are white spots on the ends of the wings.
