Zhengning road was planned and named in the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932). It was built in 31 years of the Republic of China. In 1980, it changed its name because of its homonym with Zhenning road. Along the road are warehouses and factories, including the first lung hospital and Jiangwan Stadium.
