Shanghai Walk – Jiangwan Stadium Area
Jiangwan Stadium (江湾体育场) or Jiangwan Sports Center (江湾体育中心), formerly known as Shanghai Stadium, is a multi-purpose athletics stadium located in Yangpu District, Shanghai.
The Shanghai Jiangwan Stadium was once the largest stadium in the Far East. It was part of the National Government’s “Greater Shanghai” project in the last century. The stadium’s architecture was designed in a combination of Chinese and Western styles.
The stadium has hosted many major games, but as it fell into disrepair, the stadium no longer hosts games and is used as a place for people to exercise.
