Hydrangea in Hakusan Shrine – Bunkyo City, Tokyo

Hakusan Shrine is located in Bunkyo City, Tokyo. Hydrangea in small Shinto shrine established in 948.

Hydrangea has long been loved as a feature of the rainy season.
The Bunkyo Hydrangea Festival is held during the season when about 3,000 hydrangeas are colored from the precincts of Hakusan Shrine to Hakusan Park.
