Cherry Blossoms in Gaesimsa Temple – South Korea
Gaesimsa (개심사; 開心寺) is a temple of the Jogye Order in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
It was founded in 654 by Hyegam and originally named Gaewonsa.
In 1350, it was rebuilt by Cheo-neung, and the name was changed to Gaesim. It was rebuilt in 1475, repaired in 1740, and completely renovated in 1955.
