Cascata Middai Aerial View – Seui, Sardinia, Italia

Seui is a comune in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 70 kilometres north of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres southwest of Tortolì.

Situated in the forest of Montarbu in the territory of Seui is the Middai or Funtana Middai waterfall, between the southern bangs of the calcareous heel of Mount Tonneri.

The waters of the waterfall come from a small riverbed that collects the waters from the plateau of Tonneri. Like many streams of the calcareous plateau of Sardinia is a torrential character and is full of water only during heavy rains, so even the waterfall has a variable flow rate depending on the rainfall.

The Middai waterfall has a height of about 50 meters and is very particular because it appears as a large flow of rock with a small cave at its base.
