Negawa Greenery Road (根川緑道; Negawa Greenway) is a strip of green space located in Tachikawa City, Tokyo.

Since the Edo period (1603-1868), the Negawa river has been a favorite recreational spot for local residents. In 1935, when the river was repaired to prevent flooding, cherry trees were planted along the banks, and since then the river has been a popular place for cherry blossom viewing.

A strip of green space was thus created along a small waterway of the former Negawa River, which had nearly dried up.

Somei-yoshino or Yoshino cherry (染井吉野; ソメイヨシノ), is a hybrid born in Japan and is one of the most popular and widely planted cherry cultivars in temperate regions around the world today.
