Yellow-fronted Canary – Natural Bird Sound

The yellow-fronted canary is a small passerine bird in the finch family. It is sometimes known in aviculture as the green singing finch.

Feature:
Body length 11~13 cm. Iris dark brown. The upper mouth is light black, and the lower mouth is fleshy brown. Feet brown.

Male bird has yellow forehead, green top of head, black eyeliner, wide eyebrow line, yellow face, yellow face, black cheek line, gray-green back, black vertical stripes, black tail feathers, and white terminal feather margins. Chest, abdomen, and undertail coverts are yellow, buttocks are yellowish-white, and flanks are light green with gray.

The female bird is similar to the male bird, but darker in color.

Distributed:
Native to sub-Saharan Africa, it is sold as a pet bird all over the world because of its bright colors and melodious calls.
