White-naped Crane – Bird Sound
The white-naped crane (Antigone vipio) is a bird of the crane family.
Feature:
Body length 120~153 cm. Iris yellow or dark brown. The mouth is grayish yellow. Feet pink. The skin on the forehead, front of the head, eyes, and cheeks is red, and the ear feathers are gray-black. The back of the head, back pillow, throat, nape, and upper back are white, the lower back, waist, and upper tail coverts are dark gray, and the upper wing coverts are grayish white. The lower part of the front neck to the abdomen is gray-black.
Distributed:
Breeds in Siberia, Mongolia, and northern China; in winter, it migrates to the Korean Peninsula, Japan, central and southern China to keep out the cold.
