Walking on the Old Shanghai Pier at Night
The “Old Quay” is the original Sixteen Shops, the most legendary place in Shanghai. It is a place where the legendary stories of the moguls of the Shanghai Bund were told at the beginning of the last century. The buildings of the Old Quay generation consist of riverfront alleyways, old-style shikumen groups, and they are adjacent to the Huangpu River, with the warehouses of Jinrong and Du Yuesheng. Today, the old docks have become a place of art, culture, commerce and style in the city of Shanghai, presenting the world with a distinctive nautical style. At night, we walked on the old pier, the river breeze, reminiscing about the old days.
