Wuxing Road (Wuxing Rd) was built around the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930). The northern section was originally named Route Pershing (Route Pershing) and the southern section was originally named Route Bridou. In the 32nd year of the Republic of China, the name was changed to Wuxing Road.
