Dongdaming Road was originally named Broadway Road. Judging from the name given earlier, how important this road is.
Dongdaming Road is adjacent to the Huangpu River Wharf. Along the road is the loading and unloading company of the port area. No. 378 is the original British merchant Yesong Shipyard, now Shanghai Ocean Shipping Company. No. 817 is Nanyang Brothers Tobacco Company (now Gaoyang Apartment). Near Tilan Bridge at the east end, there are Ocean Hotel and Daming Hotel. The Shanghai Port International Passenger Transport Center is located along the Huangpu River to the east of Lushun Road, west of Gaoyang Road, and south of East Daming Road.
