Walk in People’s Park, Shanghai
People’s Park (上海人民公园) is located in Huangpu District in the center of Shanghai.
People’s Park was nominated by then mayor Chen Yi and opened the 1st of October, 1952.
In 2000 it was extensively reconstructed and the appearance was completely new. It has an area of 10 hectares. The plant configuration is unique in the park, and more than 200 kinds of trees are planted.
At noon here you can see the white-collar workers who came to the park for a walk after lunch could be seen.
