Kawagoe (川越市) is a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The city is known locally as “Little Edo” (小江戸) after the old name for Tokyo, due to its many historic buildings.
Not so far from Tokyo, Kawagoe is a famous destination for both domestic and international travelers who loves to have a taste of Japan in the past.
