Walk in Datong Ancient City – Datong, Shanxi, China
During the Sixteen Kingdoms period in what is now Datong City in northern China, the Tuoba clan founded the dynastic state of Dai. Datong Ancient City (大同古城) has a long history. It was built as the capital of the Tuoba clan of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
The ancient city is located in Pingcheng District of Datong City, Shanxi Province, China.
