Walk around Zhujiajiao Ancient Town in Shanghai

Zhujiajiao (朱家角) is an ancient town located in the Qingpu District in the west of Shanghai. It was formerly known as Zhuxi Town, Zhujiege, and commonly known as Jiao Li.

The town is 2.2 kilometers away from Dianshan Lake. It is a water town, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Zhujiajiao was named one of the top 100 towns in China in terms of culture.

During the traditional Chinese festival of Dragon Boat Festival, Zhujiajiao, an ancient town was very lively. All tourists in Han suits can enjoy free travel in the Kezhi Garden and discounts for some stores in Zhujiajiao.
