The FloatHouse River Kwai Resort in Kanchanaburi, Thailand
FloatHouse River Kwai Resort is a resort consisting of floating houses on the River Kwai, more correctly Khwae Noi (‘small tributary’) in Kanchanaburi Province, the largest of the western provinces (changwat) of Thailand.
We sailed there by river from Phutakien Pier (River Kwai Resotel Pier). In the middle of the long row of floating houses is the reception and restaurant. The food and cocktails in the restaurant were absolutely of a high standard.
They offer various activities and tours. You can float or kayak on the river, visit the Mon Village or the plantation behind the hotel or go out to Hellfire Pass or the Erawan waterfalls.
