Teppozu Inari Shrine Grand Festival in Chuo City, Tokyo
Teppozu Inari Shrine (鐵砲洲稲荷神社) is an Inari shrine founded in the Heian period (794-1185) and located in Chuo City (中央区, Chūō-ku), a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan.
An Inari shrine (稲荷神社, Inari jinja) is a type of Japanese shrine used to worship the kami Inari. Inari is a popular deity associated with foxes, rice, household wellbeing, business prosperity, and general prosperity.
It holds a festival every year during Golden Week, and the main festival, held once every three years, is a very lively event.
