Swainson’s Hawk – Wildlife in 360 VR

Swainson’s hawk is a large bird species named after William Swainson, a British naturalist. They are nicknamed Grasshopper hawk or Locust hawk, as they are very fond of eating locusts and grasshoppers in flight. Swainson’s hawks have the largest migration path of any North American raptor, ranging from North America in the spring and summer to winters in Argentina.
