Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi – Villasimius, Sardinia, Italy

Villasimius, Crabonaxa in Sardinian language, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Cagliari.

The beach of Porto Sa Ruxi is immersed in a wild natural scenery at the gates of Villasimius, set between cliffs and rocky walls.

Looking at it from above, you will immediately notice it is curious three-arched shape: actually, more than a single beach, it is a group of three coves with a half-moon profile, separated by flat granite rocks.

The sand is white and soft, while the sea will surprise you for its transparency and the bright shades of blue and turquoise. The shallow water make the beach suitable for families with children. Moreover, it is a destination particularly appreciated by snorkeling and diving enthusiasts.
