Skiing & Campfire – White Mountain National Forest, NH, US
The White Mountain National Forest is a federally managed forest contained within the White Mountains.
The White Mountains are a mountain range covering about a quarter of the state of New Hampshire and a small portion of western Maine in the United States. Most of the WMNF is in New Hampshire; a small part (about 5.65% of the forest) is in the neighboring state of Maine.
We all have our secret spots in life that we go to in order to connect with our solitude. We need those places in our lives to lose and find ourselves all at once.
It’s a place I consistently visit to listen to the birds, follow animal tracks, observe nature, and ponder the universe.
