Shiori Pass, Uonuma, Niigata, Japan – Aerial View
Shiori Pass (枝折峠) is a mountain pass in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It is located on National Highway 352 at an elevation of 1,065 meters.
The pass, which rises 1,065 m above sea level has been used by traffic since the Middle Ages as a mountain pass leading to Ginzan-daira, but it was not until the end of the Meiji Period that the road was excavated, which was the predecessor of the current National Route 352.
