Red Tulips on a Flower Bed, Cat, Dogs – Ireland

Every autumn I plant pots with tulips. I keep these pots in the yard were there’s the most human, dog and cat traffic. This keeps the squirrels away from the delicious tulip bulbs which they love to feed on in winter. So, I trick squirrels by planting tulips after they’ve flowered in pots in spring. Any tulips planted out in autumn is found and eaten by squirrels.
