G60 High-Tech Corridor or G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor (G60科创云廊) is located in Songjiang District, Shanghai. The length of this building is nearly 1 km.

The 16th of December, 2021, the annual “China’s top ten ugly buildings selection” was held in Beijing.

Among the top ten ugliest buildings, Shanghai’s Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor was on the list for the following reason: the blind pursuit of urban spectacle by means of false and wasteful exaggeration to cover up the mediocre design of the main building.

So is the truth as described in the selection? With curiosity I went to the G60 Science and Innovation Cloud Corridor to see what it was all about.

After a site visit, I felt that the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor was not as ugly as the selection had suggested, and I personally liked it better.
