Hike in Coco Hill Forest, Barbados

Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands.

I captured from my time spent wandering around Coco Hill Forest in the fall.

Coco Hill Forest is a conservation area on the island with vast flora and fauna. A side of Barbados that most people miss and well worth the trip.

The forest suffers from landslides. The people are planting special grass plants which have long roots and prevent the land from sliding.

The forest is hilly and has steps. You will need comfortable shoes for hiking.
