Great Buddha Hall in Todaiji Temple – Nara, Japan
Todaiji (東大寺) is a temple located in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, Japan.
The existing Great Buddha Hall (東大寺大仏殿) is 57.5m wide, 50.5m deep, and 49.1m high to the ridge, making it one of the largest wooden structures in the world.
Todaiji Temple was built by Emperor Shomu during the Nara period and then In 752, he created the Great Buddha of Nara.
