Dubai (دبي) is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, the most populated of the 7 emirates of the United Arab Emirates.
Established in the 18th century as a small fishing village, the city grew rapidly in the early 21st century with a focus on tourism and luxury, having the second most five-star hotels in the world, and the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, which is 828 metres (2,717 ft) tall.
Ain Dubai (عين دبي) is the world’s biggest and tallest Ferris wheel, located on Bluewaters Island, near the Dubai Marina in Dubai.
The Dubai Frame (برواز دبي) is an observatory, museum, and monument in Zabeel Park, Dubai. The building has a height of 150.24 meters and a width of 95.53 meters. The building mainly serves as an observatory, providing views of old Dubai in the north and newer parts in the south.
Sharjah (ٱلشَّارقَة) is the third-most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, after Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It is the capital of the Emirate of Sharjah and forms part of the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. It is located near Dubai. The city is regarded as the cultural capital of the UAE.
The Sharjah Mosque (مَسْجِد ٱلشَّارقة), is the largest mosque in the Emirate of Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. The mosque was opened in May 2019.
