Crouching Lion Hike – Oahu, Hawaii
Oahu, also known as “The Gathering Place”, is the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands.
Crouching Lion Hike is a short, steep climb through thick vegetation to a rock formation with views over Kahana Bay. It is near Makaua Village.
It is quite slippery, very steep when raining, get the right shoes.

The USS Arizona Memorial, at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona during the Attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and commemorates the events of that day. The attack on Pearl Harbor led to the United States’ involvement in World War II.
The Tetsuo Harano Tunnels are a pair of highway tunnels passing through the Ko‘olau Range on the island of O‘ahu. The tunnels are located on Interstate H-3, which connects Kaneohe with Interstate H-1 at Hālawa near Pearl Harbor, and are 4,980 feet long Kaneohe-bound and 5,165 feet long Halawa-bound.
