Beautiful Daurian Redstart at Lake Kasumigaura – Ibaraki, Japan
I found male Daurian redstarts (JĹbitaki) in the shore of Lake Kasumigaura.
The Daurian redstart is a small passerine bird from temperate Asia. In Japan, it is known as jĹbitaki.
The species was first described by Peter Simon Pallas in 1776.
